I did my oil change last fall and used the same oil as in the past Yamalube 20W50 and a Yamaha new filter. No problems at start up and then after 5 minutes riding the oil level light came on. Tried removing some oil so it was perfect in the ..., Used 1300 Sugar Bear for one would take a really close look. If you can find out who had it and how they road, better yet talk to the owner. Read a lot of posts on here, you will find some of the guys should have got a crotch rocket instead of a cruiser type ride.
