Apparently there are dimensional variations in Benelli (and now the clones) trigger groups. The trigger won't allow itself to return forward to fully reset and it gets hung up on the disconnector. Should you find yourself in this situation, a small screwdriver between the hammer and disconnector can pry them apart.
