I'm not entirely sure how the 2020 system works, but 2008-2019 dodge and Chrysler vehicles equipped with the overhead dvd system use an infrared signal to turn on the headphones and receive audio. When the screen is on, the headphones will turn on also (If headphones mode is on also).
