On a pyro build i would recommend it in offhand, because some pyromancies combo with estoc light attack. Leo ring's not worth it though. It only increases physical damage, and you're probably infusing it with dark or chaos. I think honestly that the estoc is better, however you can parry with the rapier in the offhand.

I'd recommend it for faith / lightning builds and quality builds. If you are playing a 25-30 attunement 40/40 pyromancer, the hyperarmor won't do you much good. You should go with low requirement, fast weapons (chaos / dark estoc, long sword, murky hand scythe, scimitar etc) and of course the demon scar, witch is as OP as pyro weapons get.Make it a combo Pyro/Dex build. That way you aren't tied solely to your pyro spells. They will come in handy, but you have your Dex weapons to fall back on. Including a bow.
