Tip #1: Turn off tutor mode when doing questions and leave it for when you review questions. I ended up hyperfixating on each one I got incorrect and getting things wrong each time I answered a question discouraged me to complete the question set. I took my exam Feb 4, 2023 and I got the good PVT pop up. This morning I woke up to my name and license posted on the boards. I used simple nursing with Nurse Mike.It's still like 99% correct for the good pop-up (but only like 75% for the bad pop-up). 145 certainly isn't a "GOOD" number to end on, as it means the CAT was trying to keep going as long as it could to get you to competency, but it certainly does not mean you definitely failed. I passed at 145 and thought I failed. The NCLEX progressively asks you harder questions. Most students would probably say that SATA questions are the hardest question formats because, as the name implies, you need to find “all” the correct answers for a given question. I plan on paying for my quick results in 48 hours from now - just to be sure. UPDATE: I passed!!!, Passed with 145 & got the bad pop up. PASSED. Hi All! Just took the NCLEX on March 4th & PASSED! I wanted to go on here to give some people hope. Do not think that you failed if you took all 145Q! That's what I thought and went through a world wind of emotions especially after getting the bad pop up. Just stay calm and go through each question ..., In my opinion, I think Archer review is more similar to NCLEX questions besides some spelling/grammar mistakes. It's also a lot (A LOT) cheaper than UWORLD. I did a Mark Klimek lecture and my 75 practice questions (sometimes twice) for the next 2-3 weeks up to my test date. ... I am a repeat test taker and I took my exam yesterday and got 145 ..., Kaplan is expensive, but they do teach you tricks to answer passing level NCLEX questions. Kaplan is harder than the NCLEX, but it prepared me for SATA and prioritization. Also, they have a really great content review book that is cheap! Prayer! I prayed during my test. I was nervous and felt weak, but with God's help, I managed., Shut off at 143 Qs, I PASSED!! I just wanted to post this because we hear a lot about people passing at 75 and 145. But even if your exam goes all the way to 145 or shut off in the 140s you can still pass. Remember you can still pass in the 140s!! I used Uworld, Mark K audios and Simple Nursing youtube videos for pharmacology.
