Redfield made one specifically for the 37 Ithica #551001, which was designed to deal with the recoil. Sadly they are no longer marketed, and used ones are far and few between. I believe Ithica used this mount as a factory option at one time on the Deerslayer. I had some heavy duty 11mm airgun scope rings that fit. It worked out pretty good.
