The oil filter is new and soaked in oil. The pump "looks okay," but no oil comes out of the block oil ports when I crank the engine over. The 10w40 is a good choice but don't run automobile oil it has friction modifiers that will ruin the wet clutch's in that bike. You need oil rated for wet clutch use.
