Trail was definitely tough & hot. Bug spray is a must. I hiked lower trail from harpers ferry nhp to Maryland heights & looped at the ammunition post with a break on the hammock as my 6mos old puppy was ready to give up. Overall trail was great, definitely a workout in the 90degree July weather but was truly beautiful!
