Changing that would be put a thumb on the scales. Most would probably use that to inform something in the game instead rather than possibly recompiling with shiny odds changed but it might be possible too., Seriously. Haven't had this much fun playing pokemon in years. I just lost 4 or so hours. First run. Got to gym 5 I think. Explored everything new in the town. Caught my all time favourite pokemon in the safari (Shuckle)... and it is a shiny (childlike giddiness cannot be contained). *gasps for air and finds some modicum of composure*
