SFCM's Office of Financial Aid is dedicated to helping students and their families understand and manage the cost of a world-class music education. Aid is available from a wide variety of sources, including the newly announced Founders Scholarships that range from $20,000 to full tuition for students of exceptional potential.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA September 14, 2021—The San Francisco Conservatory of Music (SFCM) today announced that it will name its 50 Oak Street facility in honor of supporter Ann Getty, who died unexpectedly in September 2020.SF Conservatory of Music is an above-average private college located in San Francisco, California. It is a small institution with an enrollment of 228 undergraduate students. Admissions is fairly competitive as the SF Conservatory of Music acceptance rate is 46%. Popular majors include Musical Instruments, Music, and Voice and Opera. At June 30, 2021, SFCM had 42 funds with deficiencies totaling $738,000 with fair market values of $12,213,000 and original endowment gift amounts of $12,951,000. These deficiencies resulted from unfavorable market fluctuations and continued appropriation for programs that were deemed prudent by the Board of Trustees. Before joining SFCM, Wright served first as Operations Manager, then as Registrar, at the Presidio Graduate School, where he established the school’s first Registrar’s Office. He’s also held positions at the American Film Institute, supporting a student population consisting of the most driven, focused, and talented aspirants to film and television production.
