If you approach an hook with a lantern in your hand, there should be an interaction option to attach the light to the hook. If this doesn’t show up for you, please let us know in a bug report and include a screenshot if you can.

To use loom in Stranded Deep you will need to craft it, all you have to do is press C, you’re going to need 6 sticks and lashings. Once you have those things, all you need to do is craft it. Once crafted, you can simply start crafting as soon as it is done. Keep in mind that you will need to be near the loom to do so. Container Shelf.
